Q: How long will I have to wait for my installation after I have placed my order?
A: We operate on a 2-3 week lead time. During your phone conversation with our booking team,
you will be offered an installation date.
Q: If I replace my windows, do I have to make them double glazed?
A: You only have to install double glazing if you replace the entire frame. If you just replace individual sashes, then you can fit any type of glass you wish......as long as it complies with safety regulations.
Q: Do I need planning permission for draught-proofing?
A: No.
Q: Do I need planning permission for double glazing?
A: Your property may be in a conservation area or may even be listed. If either of these are the
case, then you may need to apply for planning permission. Call our office and speak to a
surveyor, we will be happy to advise you on this matter in more detail.
Q: If I sell my house, can I give the insurance backed guarantee to the new owner?
A: Yes, our insurance backed guarantee is for the property and so the new owner will automatically become the guarantee holder.
