NATIONAL COVERAGE

We can fit your windows with a variety of triple glazed units. You can concentrate on U value, noise reduction or both.
Diagram 1 above shows a triple glazed unit achieving a U value of 0.8. It incorporates 2 panes of Pilkington ‘K’ glass with 1 pane of float glass in the centre, the gaps between the panes are 16mm and are filled with a gas called Argon

Diagram 2 above shows a triple glazed unit achieving the same U value but incorporating thick laminated panes of glass. This is to cut down on outside noise transferring through the panes.

Please click on the link above to view some pictures of an installation that we carried out in the Hertfordshire area. The room is located on the second floor in a 2 story house. There is a busy main road 7 meters from the front door.
The noise levels were so high that the owner of the property had trouble sleeping as they were woken up at the early hours by commuters and trucks.

We replaced the old frames and sashes with complete new box frames and sashes. The glass used was 4mm Pilkington ‘K’ glass on the inner pane, 16mm argon filled gap, 6.8mm audio laminated centre pane, 16mm argon filled gap and a 10.8mm audio laminated outer pane.

( 4 : 16 : 68 : 16 : 10.8 ).
